Wow, Taylor's Rest was a delightful retreat during our trip to Orkney. the chalet was cozy and beautifully decorated with three comfortable bedrooms and a spacious living room featuring a flat-screen TV. the hot tub was a luxurious touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Located just 2.2 km from Mill Sand Beach, the property offered a peaceful setting with stunning garden views. We appreciated the equipped kitchen and the convenience of having a washing machine available. the welcome basket with essentials like milk, cheese, and biscuits made us feel right at home. The location, only 5 km away from Kirkwall, was ideal for exploring the area. We were able to visit the Standing Stones of Stenness and Maeshowe easily from the chalet. the owners were very attentive, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, Taylor's Rest exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable stay in Orkney. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring this beautiful region.
